I’m Heidi, and I’m so excited that we can finally share our inspirations with you. The hardest part is trying to keep the blog up with our racing imaginations.
My days are filled with taking care of my home, my wonderful husband, Chris, and our four amazing children: Isabelle, Abigail, Claire, and Zachary. In my spare time, I always have a few too many projects in the works. Often, people have commented that I’m crazy for putting so much on my plate, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I’ve always enjoyed many varied outlets of creativity, and used to question why I was a jack of many trades, but a master of none. Now, I embrace the fact that I’ve found an avenue to combine many of my talents and interests into one focus. For me, entertaining is a way that I can creatively show my family and friends how special they are to me. There is nothing better than sitting around a beautiful table with delicious food, and laugh and make memories with the ones we love. I may not be the life of the party, but I sure love to be the host.
Patty is my better half, and my partner in crime. She motivates and inspires me. She is the one of the few persons I am racing to catch up to, and yet, probably never will. We “get” each other, she can say “Sourpuss” and in minutes, together we’ve burst with ideas for another party down to the invites, menu, and decorations. But we also compliment, contrast, and balance each other’s styles, abilities, and talents. I’ve often said I would never want to do anything like this with anyone else.
I’m privileged to be able to call her my partner, my sister, my friend!
