A Valentine’s Party

A Valentine’s Day Party

This girls late night ended up being a fun Valentines party! Prepping for this party reminded me just how much I love getting creative for parties!

Caitlyn and I thought the perfect way to let her friends know just how much she loves them was to simply remind them of the good times they have shared. So we wrote down with chalk a few fun memories and silly sayings we thought reminded her of their friendship on a strip of black butcher paper.

Best part was listening to their conversations and giggles as they read and tried to figure out what word or saying was meant for them!

It ended up being a fun and simple centerpiece and a great conversation starter!

I love using paper plates since there are so many fun designs and of course because of the fast clean up.

We just added a plain white dinner dish and festive red charger and we had a pretty cute set up for the girls.

Strawberry Floats!

These were my favorite and I’ve been waiting for a chance to use my jars!

All you need is vanilla ice cream, strawberry soda, whipped cream and cherries!

imageYup, I forgot that when you get a group of girls together for a late night and sleep over that mom doesn’t sleep! What was I thinking….well I was pretty much done after dinner and let them fend for themselves the rest of the night.

I just made sure they had plenty of goodies!

Strawberry Rice Krispie Treats

Prepare your Rice Krispie treats as usual but just add 1/2 of a 3oz box of strawberry jello mix to your melted marshmallows.

Strawberry Caramel Corn

imageMake your favorite caramel corn recipe and just add food coloring or the rest of your jello  mix to your corn syrup mixture before stirring into popped popcorn.

Easy Chocolate Cupcakes

Cupcakes can always add to your table decor.

I love a centerpiece that’s edible!

Happy Valentines Day!
